These classes are for the Warriors who want to take their skills and apply them to the next level. Take you skills that you have developed in your recreational classes, and learn to apply them to partner and sparring situations.
This class is appropriate for any Fitness Warrior who has at least 2 months of experience in our Kickboxing classes, or any Martial Arts Warrior who is level Green Stripe or higher.
As you get stronger and more confident with your sparring, you may be invited to join our Competition class and go for the gold!
Sparring class will take the skills you have begun to develop, and elevate them to a real opponent situation.
You will be guided through how to apply striking and defense skills. Our sparring coach, Master Terrance, will introduce new skills and drills each class, and coach you on how to apply those skills to your sparring matches.
Though this is a contact class, we ensure a respectful, safe environment. There is a difference between "fighting" and sparring. Controlled contact and respect between participants is key. Our rule, never strike harder than you wish to be struck.
We recommend all participants begin by attending non contact classes for a minimum of 2 months prior to attending sparring class.
You need to develop the skills before learning to apply them. So some time spent with the punching bag is key.
Once you are ready to begin sparring class, you will require the following:
- Sparring Kit (includes Head gear, gloves, shin pads, foot pads, mouth guard, gym bag.
-A WAKO (World Association of Kickboxing Organizations) membership
-Commitment! This is not class you should just drop into once in a while.

Teens and Adults ages 13+
Martial Arts Program including:
Taekwondo, Weapons class, Sparring class
Kids ages 3-12
Teens ages 13-17
Adults ages 18 and up
