I’ve been kicking it with Danny since 2012! His cardio kickboxing and bootcamp classes have made me stronger, more focused and more toned. I love how we build on the moves and combos he teaches us, so not only do I get a physical workout, but a mental one as well! Danny’s classes are lots of fun and he makes his students laugh. His positive attitude makes everyone feel at ease and will motivate you to reach your goals from start to finish, which is why I’m still kicking it with him!
I have always been an active person but became bored with everything over the years. Then I found Danny! I started off with personal training and nothing would prepare me for what he had in store for me. Since then, I have been hooked. After the 6 sessions I had with him I thought I would jump right into his kickboxing classes and now I can’t get enough. I noticed I have become stronger, more energetic and I have much more ability in everything I do.
His energy and jokes is like no other. He will seek you out if you need assistance and if he thinks you have more in you to give. I promise you will work hard, laugh and it may feel like you took a shower at the end of class.

I started yoga in January 2018. What a fantastic experience it has been. I have experienced migraine headaches for many years. Since yoga classes I rarely experience a migraine. My flexibility and overall feeling of wellness have improved considerably. I highly recommend it for anyone wanting to improve their overall well being and to control migraines.
After a couple of years of not working out, I decided to do a kickboxing trial. What a fantastic fitness program it has proved to be. The program has pushed me to increase my strength, coordination, and improve my cardio stamina. In four months, I lost 15 pounds of excess weight and feel so much better. The program is intense, but the results are very rewarding
After several months of debilitating hip pain, I discovered the healing touch of Ania’s yoga program. I no longer have extreme hip pain that severely limited my ability to function. It has helped tremendously and I’m so grateful. Since beginning the program, I no longer take any anti inflammatory medication to get through the day. The program provides incredible techniques to strengthen the muscles and increases overall flexibility.
Kickboxing is an amazing work out program. Before beginning the program, my strength and cardio level was severely lacking. Now I have amazing energy and my strength has improved so much. I was brand new to yoga and nervous to start, right away Ania made me feel welcome and patiently guided me through all of the moves. I am amazed at how much my strength and flexibility had come back working with Ania. I look forward to every class and am excited to learn more.
I have been working out with Danny's Kickboxing in Oakville for almost 7 years and I love it. Every class is a challenge, never boring and I always leave feeling like I worked hard. He has a way of getting you to push yourself a little bit more each time. It’s a great way to stay fit and have fun.
I found Danny’s kickboxing classes 2.5 years ago and my life has completely changed for the better as a result.
I was a new-ish mom and was feeling sluggish, out of shape and unconfident. I had been putting myself last on the list for several years whilst I threw all my energy into the kids. I was so nervous when I went along that first night, not knowing what to expect other than I was sure I wouldn’t be able to keep up with everyone. I shouldn’t have worried, Danny made me feel so comfortable, welcome and important as an individual, not just “mom”. After that initial hour, I was hooked!
Since I’ve been training with Danny and Ania I feel like a new person. I feel like I can conquer any challenge that comes my way – not just the physical ones thrown in to training but day to day things are easy to cope with because of the mental strength the training has given me – being able to push my body beyond what I ever thought possible is almost an added bonus.
These pair are the real deal, they care about building your wellness from the inside out. They will give modifications when necessary and push for the best effort from each member of the class. Aware that I am no longer a spring chicken after pulling my hamstring doing home repairs; realizing that in order to be a good parent I need stamina; and seeking a welcoming community where I could punch and kick after a long day of work, I took an important step last September: I joined a kickboxing club with Inner Warrior Fitness, and it has made all the difference.
There are a couple of things I will mention about my experience:
1. The herd is a good thing. I was unable to motivate myself – and needed one-on-one personal training. But my budget did not permit that at the time, so I searched for group training classes. From a previous (very positive) experience with personal training, I remembered how much I enjoyed kickboxing cardio. Specifically, the mental aspect: coordinating the body movements to match the combinations.
2. Fitness is a marathon. A year ago, I was very out of shape. Initially, the way I approached the hour-long class was to see whether I could make it half way. For the rest of class, I would modify the exercises. The other members and the teacher were super encouraging and welcoming. Over months, I could see I was able to make it three quarters of the way. And now, I can get to the end of the class. I’m not Chuck Norris – yet. But I can see massive changes in my fitness, body and positivity.
3. Variety is really good. I have a teacher who is constantly changing up the program. Sometimes it is high-intensity circuit training with weights (always with safety and form in mind), sometimes it’s putting on the gloves and hitting the heavy bag or doing kick combinations. Whatever it is, there’ll be music, laughter and you’ll be drenched at the end.
4. Danny is a star teacher. He is a highly motivating, positive and fun person to be around. He explains and demonstrates superbly, and stops by to help you refine or correct your combinations. He’s all in. The classes generally take place at 8:30 pm (after the kids are in bed and the kitchen cleaned).
